Terms and Conditions:
By participating in our 2017 Old Mutual Wealth International England v Samoa “Win the Match Ball” Social Media competition, you fully agree and accept The RFU IPF’s “Win the Match Ball” Competition Terms and Conditions: ("Terms and Conditions"):
1. The promoter of the competition is the Rugby Football Union Injured Players Foundation ("RFU IPF", "we"), RFU IPF, Rugby House, Twickenham Stadium, 200 Whitton Road, Twickenham, Middlesex, TW2 7BA
2. Entrants under 18 must obtain the permission of a parent or guardian before entering the competition.
3. To enter the competition you must follow the RFU IPF on Twitter.
4. Only entries received by the final whistle of the England v Samoa match at Twickenham Stadium on Saturday 25th November 2017 (the "Closing Date") will be entered. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be considered. The winner will be chosen by the RFU IPF at random and notified on Saturday 25th November after the closing time of the competition by private message via Twitter. In the event that a winner does not respond to communications within 14 days of initial contact, the RFU IPF reserves the right to disqualify that winner and allocate that prize to an alternate winner selected in the same manner or withdraw it.
5. Definition of “Win the Match Ball”. The competition prize consists of an:
a. An opportunity for the competition winner to take home a rugby ball from the set of match balls allocated for the Old Mutual Wealth International England v Samoa match played on Saturday 25th November at Twickenham stadium. The ball will be signed by the captain of England Rugby and Samoa Rugby on the day. This is strictly subject to availability. If for any reason this specific signed ball is unavailable the RFU IPF reserves the right to substitute an alternative prize of a comparable value for the signed ball. There is no cash alternative.
6. The prize is not transferable to other entrants without the prior agreement of the RFU IPF and the prize does not include the cost of travel, accommodation or any other expenses incurred by the winner of the competition.
7. The RFU IPF will not be liable for any financial reimbursement related to redeeming this prize (including international postal costs, travel costs or other costs incurred).
8. The RFU IPF have the right to use fans’ tweets/posts from the aforementioned channels and any associated images that are posted with those submissions for use within RFU IPF marketing materials related to the promotion of the “Win the Match Ball” campaign. All entrants agree that if they are the winner of the prize they will take part in any promotional activity reasonably requested by the RFU IPF.
9. Fan images will not be given to any third parties.
10. The RFU IPF accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the competition, not being able to enter into the competition or accepting and/or using any prize. The RFU IPF further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person's computer or IT systems relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading of any materials in connection with the competition. Nothing shall exclude the liability of the RFU IPF for fraud or for death or personal injury as a result of that party's negligence.
11. The RFU IPF reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition with or without prior notice due to reasons outside their control or to amend or modify these terms and conditions at any time.
12. On occasions where a social media platform (such as Twitter) is used as a platform for promoting RFU IPF competitions, the relevant social media platform(s) shall have no responsibilities or liability for the running of the Competition or selection of the winners.
13. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts
