All of us at the RFU Injured Players Foundation are very saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and offer our condolences to the whole Royal Family at this time.

This International Women’s Day we celebrated our fantastic nation-wide injured players, staff, supporters, fundraisers and allies who help us to create an equal society which is free from bias, stereotypes and discrimination.

Rugby Football Union (RFU) President His Honour Jeff Blackett and his wife Sally will walk 150 miles during a 15 day nationwide tour this autumn to raise money for the Injured Players Foundation (IPF) as part of the RFU’s official 150th Anniversary celebrations. 

Catastrophically injured playing rugby having just returned as an Army captain from a tour of Afghanistan, Tom Hughes has set off on his accessible catamaran Artemis to sail the world, having planned the trip for six years.
