A race like no other, this is the big one and we'll give you all the support you need to get across that finish line. Join Team #RugbyRunners to take on London in the world's most iconic marathon.

The 2021 Virgin London Marathon has been moved to 03 October 2021. Details around charity place allocation is still to be confirmed by the London Marathon event organisers. We invite runners to complete their application but we cannot offer any charity places until the final allocation is confirmed. We will be in touch with all applicants as soon as the situation changes.

Everyone who runs with our team receives the following:

  • A Team Rugby Runners Welcome Pack full of fundraising tips and advice
  • An IPF t-shirt to show the world you're on our team
  • A technical fibre IPF running vest 
  • An invitation to our Rugby Runners Training Day at Twickenham to get you ready for the race and celebrate and support our team
  • Access to our Post-Race Reception to re-fuel and recover with a free sports massage!
  • Unlimited 1-1 support from our dedicated fundraising team

  • On a roll in IPF marathon

    They should have been cheered on by thousands as the London Marathon took place through the streets of the capital.

    Instead, four intrepid heroes were waved off by World Rugby chairman, Bill Beaumont, to complete 26.2 miles around Kendal Rugby Club’s first team pitch. Three of them were in wheelchairs and all four were fundraising for the RFU Injured Players Foundation.
