What We Do

WE SUPPORT SERIOUSLY INJURED PLAYERS*

We provide immediate and lifelong support for all seriously injured rugby union players, both amateur and professional, to empower them to live a full and independent life.

WE HELP PROTECT PLAYERS FROM SERIOUS INJURY

We fund research into the causes and outcomes of serious injury, identifying the best ways to prevent and treat it
And
We fund and inform training of rugby coaches, players, referees and volunteers to protect players from serious injury.

Our Vision

The rugby union game being played without catastrophic injuries occurring and all injured players leading the life that they wish to lead.

Our Mission

The Foundation provides support and information to those who sustain a catastrophic injury as a result participating in rugby union, to empower them to lead as full and independent life as they are able to. It also works with all stakeholders to reduce the risk of these and other injuries in the game.

Why we need you to raise money to support the rugby family

Seriously Injured Players*
We need to raise an additional £1million over the next four years to fund more support such as: specialist wheelchairs, vehicle adaptations, house conversions, communication aids, work re-training courses, adapted sports equipment and respite opportunities.

[* We support players with serious spine and head injuries that result in significant permanent disability]

Protecting Players

By raising £500,000 over the next four years we can support the real grass roots of the game through helping them with funding for first aid training and equipment. Raising this further, will enable us to invest even more into injury prevention research to help make our game safer.
