Moody and Elsom Donate Their Shirts

England captain Lewis Moody and Australia skipper Rocky Elsom have both agreed to donate their official match-day shirts to charity after this weekend’s Investec International clash at Twickenham.

With the Cook Cup at stake, all players will be wearing special commemorative shirts with the iconic poppy image situated on the right sleeve to help promote the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

The shirts are exclusive to the match and will be sold separately through an official RFU eBay channel with profits from the auctions to be split 50/50 between the Royal British Legion and the RFU’s Injured Players Foundation.

Bath Rugby’s Lewis Moody, who will lead the national side out for the fifth successive match on Saturday, is more than happy to lend his support, and said: “The chosen charities have a strong affiliation with the game of rugby and both Rocky and I are delighted to be able to help out such great causes.”

Both shirts will be available on the Monday after the game, please check RFU.com for full details and a direct link to the shirts.

You can meet up with Lewis and several other England boys at a signing session at the Twickenham Stadium Rugby Store on November 22.
