Cyclothon – Thursday 13 September 2012

Cyclothon 2011In 2011 the two IPF teams came first and second in the 8hr team endurance challenge, racing against rugby legends and other sports stars like Victor Ubogu, Rory Underwood, Mark Reagan, Craig Chalmers, Doddie Weir, Phil De Glanville and Graham Bell.

For 2012 we're looking for even more teams to take part in either the 8hr or 12hr team challenges. The aim is to cover as many laps, of the iconic Brands Hatch racing circuit, as you can in the time available. It's a relay race with each team having only one rider on the track at any time, so the rest of the team can relax in the race pits and enjoy the music, massages and food! The day will finish off with a buffet dinner and awards ceremony with some great sporting icons.

Teams can be a minimum of 4 riders up to a maximum of 8 riders, and for 2012 hand cyclists can also enter as the track and facilities are being upgraded to hold the Paralympic 2012 road race.

To enter your team or for more details visit www.cyclothonuk.com. Please also let us know that you are taking part for the IPF and we'll send you your team fundraising pack and support you along the way with advice and tips.
